nesman
The MoBo and the CPU should be compatible with each other. You can read the specs on the motherboard which tell you if it is compatible or not. Everything seems fine to me. I'm waiting for my parts to come as well.. LogicalUser
yes, everything there should work fine. that said, i ordered that exact hard drive a week ago, and will be shipping it off for RMA on monday. came defective, very excessive noise, sounds like the drive startup "tick", only repeatedly while reading/writing. apparently its a common problem w that specific model, but odds are yours will be fine Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/142964-new-builder-moboprocessor-compatibilty-question/#findComment-1016798 Share on other sites
