I have an HP dv6000 intel and i've read all the tutorials on how to install them and everytime i do what it says,,, there's always some kind of problem whether it be not booting up or it cant find something. so im getting pretty :censored2: annoyed with this bull :censored2: <-- (These things are awesome) but i dont know what else to do . thanks in advance

I did but he hasn't messaged me back yet... but it does the apple circle loading thing and then a stop sign comes over the apple logo

 

it says "Failed to load extension com.apple.driver.AppleAHCIPort."

 

Have you enabled AHCI mode in your BIOS and if booting Vista too, have you installed Vista AHCI drivers......?

No not dual booting just iATKOS.. but where is that located in the bios??

 

Look under Configure SATA : Options [iDE, RAID, AHCI]

 

Also check this thread.......you may need the AHCI fix depending on which OS X version you are installing.....

Can an Intel Centrino work with iATKOS??

 

OS X on PC requires SSE2 (preferably SSE3 and EMT64) and iATKOS is for Intel CPUs AFIK......but check here......
