skierguy
I am having problems with mounting images on 10.5.6. I am running vanilla kernel with macloader (EFI v9). So far I have tried replacing seatbelt.kext with the 10.5.5 version and replacing System.kext with the 10.5.5 version. With both replaced I can mount some dmgs (Crossover Pro 7.1.0) but I get a kernel panic when I mount others (GoogleNotifier dmg). Anything else I can do? My hackintosh is pretty much unusable until I fix this..
nintenno
Try the 9.5 kernel
Beerkex'd
If replacing seatbelt.kext and using an older kernel doesn't work for you, you can open dmgs with Disk Utility and choose convert to CD/DVD master. Then they'll mount.
skierguy
Phewph, thanks nintenno, I used the kernel from 10.5.5 and it works fine now.
