french squared
I have been told several times to download grub-dfe.iso use it to boot my mac (I have a pc, currently) then install retail version. Dont mess around with the packaged installes. Get grub-dfe boot 132 ISO, use it to boot your mac. Grab the latest version of chameleon. Install the retail disk. Install chameleon, pop in all the P45 kexts into the extras folder. Run your graphics card EFI string. Upgrade to 10.5.5. Then install PC EFI v9 install it in root, grab the DSDT installer, run it and install it in the root. Install 10.5.6. Enjoy your mac. How does a grub bootloader help boot a DVD? grub-dfe.iso is simple a bootloader. It looks for a hd not a DVD besides I can make my own bootloader in a few minutes in linux. Core 2 Duo E8500 GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P GeForce 8400 GS 256MB 64-bit GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 OCZ Reaper HPC 8GB (4 x 2GB) I have been looking for a tutorial explaining this for days. Im sorry if there is one, but this forum has gotten so large I cant find it. I simply need to know how to get a retail install on my HD. I can make my own bootloader.
