AzRocks
I'm interested in installing Leopard on a Dell Mini 9 using the Type11 method (http://www.mydellmini.com/forum/howto-install-os-x-the-right-way-type11-boot132--t1106.html) To do so, you need to have a Leopard Retail DVD. I have a copy of a Leopard Upgrade DVD that I got for free because I ordered my iMac with Tiger a few weeks before Leopard came out. To do the Type11 installation, you need to have the full retail version. I found instructions online (http://uneasysilence.com/archive/2007/12/12791/) detailing how to convert this DVD to the full retail version. Do you think that this will work? Just to clarify, this is NOT a "drop-in" Leopard update disk that came in the box. This came as part of a mail in rebate for Leopard. Thanks for any help!
