Hello all,

I know there most likely is 1000 post's regarding this problem here, but now after sitting and installing and messing around i need a point in the right direction. I have a ATI Radeon Mobility X1600 071c5 graphics card, and trying to find a kext somewhere and how to install it... Is it just so simple so delete the old ATI* kext files under System/Library/Extentions and then copy in the new ones and load them ? or is there more to it.

At the moment i do not have windows on this laptop. Really hope someone can help me.

Hi!

I have same card, same ID on my old (HP8440) notebook but this include my EDID.

Probe it from: http://rapidshare.com/files/176032748/ATIX1600.zip

For Res Switching replace all 3 files in zip!
