ndtechie05
ALright, so i had XP installed running fine, played Oblivion, Doom 3, yadayada. Problem was i only made the partiton 10Gb cause i thought it wasnt going to work. Now i ran boot camp again and deleted the XP partiton and tried to partiton it again to 50Gb. Its giving me an error that ill include as an attachment. Please see if you can help me, i liked being able to play games. BitterSweet
Not come accross this, the only thing I can suggest is: 1. Boot from OS X CD 2. Run disk utility from utilties menu 3. Select the partition section 4. Choose 1 partition scheme 5. Erase disk Then install Mac OS X again, and run BootCamp again. It is only a Beta after all! skiguy545
I receive the same error, however it has occurred for me from the beginning. I have not successfully been able to run Boot Camp Assistant yet. I have my data all backed up but would like to not reformat and do all that if possible. Especially because my disk is the correct format. I ran Disk Utility and found a few minor errors on my disk. When I return to my office where my DVD is, I will boot from it and repair those problems. Then I will attempt Boot Camp again. I spoke with a rep at the Apple Store and they suggested I come in. They have not seen this error yet and would like to learn more about it and its fixes as well. So, I will post another response when I get to the bottom of this. Hope you can get it going. skiguy545
After many hours at the Apple Store, we were not able to fix this problem without backing up and re-installing the system. Before I installed anything but the system and apple updates, I ran the Boot Camp partition. It worked, then I loaded XP perfectly... Then I loaded my backed up files again and everything works great!!! XP flies and OSX still is just as wonderful!!!
