Blixten
Testing Grounds says this: "VERY IMPORTANT!!!!! You MUST Click Customize!! If you do not, your install probably will not work. The Customize screen will show you several options that you will need to select or de-select based on your own hardware configuration. If your first install does not work correctly, chances are you need to choose different options in the Customize screen:" My HP 2510p installs... but then hangs, probably due to faulty customize info from me... how do I proceed? Anyone out there in Cyberspace with one up and running iDeneb 1.3? :-/ /BR Flash! snikx
Be more carefull about screens before clicking "Next" button !! Next screen after selecting your drive should have a customize button. Blixten
Yup, I found that screen, but was overwhelmed with all the options I could not really understand. HPs official website told me no secrets about the intestines of the laptop in question. So I am stuck here with an excellent hardware, no money and a dream... Anyone got a hint how I should proceed? Geo877
if you have a windows os also installed just go - control panel -> (swich to classic view if not already) choose administrative tools -> computer management and select device manager from the left hand side. this will give you details on your hardware Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/142221-hp-2510p-how-to-select-options-in-customize/#findComment-1010056 Share on other sites
