Sterny
Hey guys, I have installed the latest version of Britannica (awful software but great content), but the name of the app in the menu bar is "Student and Home Edition". Is there any way I can change it to simply "Britannica"? hecker
Renaming the original file should do the trick. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/142198-is-it-possible-to-change-the-app-name-in-menu-bar/#findComment-1008825 Share on other sites
Dio G
Use an alias. That way any uninstaller or updater can still handle the original. You can also drag aliases into the Dock.
