Kari_Juhani
Hi and thanks for reading this.. i have searched this forum and googled, but could not get it work.... i have a PCI-card from Realtek and because i have not managed to install RTL8185 - utility or kext for this so that it would work. If i use Kext Helper and rtl8185.kext it wont even show in Extension. When i install software from Realtek ( only a PPC version available, should work with Intel too) the extension comes to folder but this software freezes when i try to open it. And because it's not even showing on my System Profilers list (no pci cards installed) i cant get much info from it. --> i have a live version of Kubuntu and this s what i get out of this card : 07:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd.
