SORRY!

I should have posted this in the Leopard category! I forgot! Please move it there for me?

iDeneb 1.3 (Mac OS 10.5.5) installed on a 80GB IDE Seagate Barracuda

Using Chameleon EFI. Only boot flag is debug=0x144. Uses both cores and

installed 4GB RAM. Panic only occurs when multiple apps are accessing the

drive, especially when using VMWare Fusion 2. My motherboard is a MSI K9N4

Ultra-F (nForce 500 Ultra Chipset). Kernel is Voodoo release 9.5.0, and my

CPU is an AMD Athlon X2 6000+. I have tried several different kexts and a

couple different kernels, to no luck. :)

I'm trying to convert completely out of Windows.

Here is a rip of the panic screen, minus the top notification to give this

to the dev team, and my MAC & IP addresses at the bottom.

Which nforce ata kext are you using? When I upgraded to 4GB of ram, I had to upgrade to slashack's nforce ata kext. With the other nforce ata kext I got kernel panics under similar circumstances as you.

Here is a link to slashack's nforce ata kext forum. You can download the kext from his google code page.

You may also want to check out this forum, as it deals with nforce boards:
