understated
I'm amazed it hasn't yet been done (perhaps it has, but I have yet to find it). We've had XP and OSX running on the same hardware for a while now. Let's put them head to head and conduct a few heuristic tests, say encoding a few thousand MP3s to AAC or something (is iTunes available as a universal binary yet). I'm sure the folks who are into their benchmarking could conconct a more thorough test. whaddya reckon guys and gals? understated (curious bystander considering the merits of buying an ACER 4202WLMi or waiting to see what the MacBook specs are like - a MacBook Pro would be great but I'm not made of money) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/14196-osx-vx-xp/ Share on other sites
thrunner
edited: Not on Mac hardware as suggested, but you'll get an idea. http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?s=...indpost&p=68311 cinebench runs on winxp and osx. winxp has an edge in opengl hardware. settolo
but that benchmark was with video driver? It seems to be before bootcamp, so without the driver Anyway, the question was about some benchmark with the same hardware (Mac) with different OS...
