Patsmatrix
Tried everything in that post, nothing will change the outcome. -v -x cpus=1 -v -f cpus=1 -v -x -f cpus=1 It will still just sit there doing nothing, basically, forever. Tried installing with all the different kernels too. Suggestions? Gujal
The post I linked had specific instructions relating to deleting the Display drivers. Did you look at my post in the thread with the instructions. The commands you have mentioned are not what I suggested Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/141951-ideneb-1055-p5ql-p43-ich10/#findComment-1008178 Share on other sites

Friegie
I had a similar problem that iDeneb would install fine but would refuse to boot. Here is what I did. Your mileage may vary. My machine has a 6800GT display card. 1. Boot into single user mode (-s option on bootloader) 2. Enter the following commands /sbin/fsck -fy / /sbin/mount -uw / mkdir /Backup mv /System/Library/Extensions/NV* /Backup reboot 3. Now at Bootloader prompt, use -f 4. This should boot and let you finish the Apple Setup. You will be using VESA mode so no QE+CI yet 5. Use OSX86tools and install the Graphics string for your Display card 6. Use KextHelper to install the NV* kexts from /Backup directory 7. Reboot 8. After reboot you should now have full QE+CI, however as you are on Geforece7150, i doubt if you will get CI I had no luck yesterday .. I have followed the above instructions, but my computer hangs on the same spot, when i at first type in: -s (at bootloader) Does somebody have another way? thanks, Friegie Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/141951-ideneb-1055-p5ql-p43-ich10/#findComment-1010831 Share on other sites
