evolt
Hey guys why do you think my osx86 run's faster on my ATA? I wen't back to 10.4.5 the other day and decided to use my WD ATA 120GB vs Samsung SATA 200GB. WD = xbench is 76 Samsung = xbench is 67 Shouldn't the SATA be faster? theSpam
Well, OS X probably has generic drivers for your SATA controller, so that's why it's slower. Icebreaker
My iMac G5 has WD SATA. I´m thinking if OSX86 would benefit from using the same HDDs as Apple uses? It wouldn't since it depends on your SATA controller and not your SATA HD.
