Laavuska
Long story shortly. Yesterday I installed the new 10.5.6 to my Ideneb 10.5.5 without checking the description of update first Of course it freezed during the installation. I got kernel panic, but I fixed it when I removed Appleintelcpupowermanagement.kext. But after booting, I found out that my ps2-keyboard doesnt work anymore, usb-mice works fine. Well, I downloaded ACPIPS2Nub.kext packet and I unzipped those kexts onto my desktop. I didnt succeed to install those with terminal on the OS, because when entering a password, keyboard was required for typing. So I had to do that on disk when booting. But now problem is that it doesnt let me to copy those kexts from the desktop. I know that probably this is very noob problem, but I can not solve it This is the code I used: cd /Volumes/Leopard etc.... cd Extensions(went to the folder) cp -Rf ~/Users/Leevi/Desktop/filename.kext ./ It said that could not find the file.... P.S And I changed "filename.kext" to the real name Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/141686-messing-up-with-1056-lost-the-keyboard/ Share on other sites
