gizzymo
well , dragging untitled into the bin dis-mounts it sucessfully, so how about an applescript running at startup to dismount it?????? Colonel
That's not just with boot camp. I have an OSx86 machine that I built and it does the same thing with Windows. I think you have to start up Windows and rename the C:\ drive to whatever you want it to be named on your Mac desktop. Olaf Wagner
Boot up in XP, then right-click on the C Drive (in my computer) and click on properties. Thereupon change the name. If you don't have a right-click-able mouse, simply click on the c Drive and press F2 (to rename it). Then when you boot back into Mac OSX, it will show that name. Note: If you made it a FAT32 partition, the name will be all in uppercase in Mac OSX (eg: WINDOWSXP) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/14139-boot-camp-creates-untitled/#findComment-90604 Share on other sites
