markm75
I followed the instructions online for getting OSX installed on Vmware.. I was able to get the installer to launch just fine, formatted the partition from within the OSX installer.. it ran through and did the install.. It then reboots... but when it does it will act like it is going to load the OS, but then instantly reset (due to the kernel error, which the guide says was ok to ignore, hence i said do not display message again).. Am I missing something here? I have a dell T3400 quad core 2.4ghz q6600 machine which should be fine.. i've disabled all bios settings in the VM that it recommended. The iso i used was the JAS 10.5.4 iso. My virtual drives are set as IDE.. The particular guide i followed was this one: http://######.com/index.php?option=...6&Itemid=32 *But i hadnt touched anything networking wise, its currently set to bridged. I'm not sure if i had to, but i turned off memory caching in the VM's bios.. EDIT: I'm trying a newer iso, the deneb 10.5.5 (on the black bootup screen, it says darwin/x86 5.0.132 chamelion v1.0.11.. i get an error com.apple.boot.slist not found.. no kernel errors, it just wont start the setup process. The version of Vmware workstation i'm using is the latest: 6.0.5 build 109488; Thanks for any tips.
