SirMaximuM
Hi, I tried to install the WMessenger 5.0 and It's work too slow and using a high % of CPU... 20, 60, ... 80% sometimes, or more % I'm using in a P4 (SEE2) with Maxx SEE3 patch, almost works fine, iTunes works fine too, but WM 5.0 ... =/ it's almost impossible. Help pls! (PS: How rosetta works? Ex, I'm using rosetta when I'm using the WM 5.0??) thx! Proteo
(PS: How rosetta works? Ex, I'm using rosetta when I'm using the WM 5.0??) Yes you are, since WM is a PPC app. However I'm using WM 5,0 and it seems to behave quite well. Are you sure the problem is *only* WM? Some people are having speed issues with the file that handles the TPM module (sorry, I don't remember the name, do a search for it), and by deleting it the problem has gone. Good luck. SirMaximuM
Thx for replies! ... I already remove the TPM, yeah It was eating 95%-110% of my CPU. About the WM, yes It was eating a big amount % of my CPU when I open a chat window, =( It would be great a WM Intel version, eheh =/ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/1413-windows-messenger-50-for-mac-problems/#findComment-9303 Share on other sites

canguro
well.. i do not have these problems... yet, i`m running OS X on a nc6000 HP Compaq, my specs are: 60GB HDD ATA 5400RPM TOSHIBA Pentium M Processor 1.6Ghz ATi Radeon 9600 (M10) 32MB DDR-Ram 512MB DDR RAM Intel i855(i don`t remember the rest of this =P)blabla motherboard. Broadcom NetXtreme Network Adapter (yes, it`s working and as i am posting, im using OS X) Notes: In my case, the keyboard and the track worked OK, no problems, just run fines (are both PS/2 controlers), and my 2 USB worked ok, my network adapter just runs fine. My ONLY problem, is the "@", i cannot make it, anyone knows a command or something? (my keyboard is in spanish, it has "ñ" key, and the way of doing the @ is AltGr + Q, and that commad closes the app... wtf can i do? EDIT: i just forgot to say u, the problem is that the installer of MSN 5 for Mac doesn`t let me paste my e-mail in the account box, so i cannot install msn. (sorry for my english, im Chilean) Regards.
