stevebor Posted April 5, 2006 Share Posted April 5, 2006 I have both Os's installed and use acronis boot selector to choose OS on start up. I used the JaS 1111a Generic Patch v4.2b. Is there a way to set my osx as primary and use the bootcamp technology to add the "startup" selector to XP and at the start of osx as if i was actually using a mac? If you have both OS's already installed, what's there to complain about. Ouch Posted April 6, 2006 Share Posted April 6, 2006 Well the bootcamp application is only there to resize your startup disc and burn a CD containing drivers. The actual method of boot selection is provided by the EFI firmware update that intel mac owners have to update to before running bootcamp. Boot Camp does not handle the OS selection.
