A
Problem fixed. I just connected the monitor power cables to another power connector on the wall. Dont know how it works, but it do same problem here! My Duet works flawless on my iMac + Macbook but my Q6600 makes those strange noises on my HS80 Monitors! Connecting the power cables from the HS80 to another power outled dind´t do the trick. This machine is causing my a lot of headaches but its somuch faste than a 3 year old core duo Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/140987-apogee-duet-firewire-interface-crackling-noise/#findComment-1069432 Share on other sites
rama
same problem here, its driving me nuts. plugging into a different outlet doesnt solve it. I think it helps a little.. but its definately still there. I like to have my power amp running hot, it gives the best sound quality. having to turn it down 4 or 5 notches is stupid, since its a noiseless amp, the reason i paid so much for it! anyone else with any bright ideas?
