idk the easiest way to do it is to boot up with another hacked distro and install the os using the retail image, then just running a postpatch replacing the the bare minimum required kexts. idk im really happy with my install. oh and you might wanna look into universal os x installer to make things literally point and click, so you'll just end up searching for you necessary kexts and installing a modded kernel

A retail boot-132 install is generally for Intel CPU with Intel Chipset and there are dedicated threads for that.

However now with the release of Voodoo Kernel, it may be possible to do a retail install on AMD CPU. search around.

As David86 says start with a patched distro first and once you have got accustomed to install kexts and tweaking, you can then attempt a retail install.
