Please check your device ID as written on first post, with osx86tools, in that way you can be confident you have this network card.

thanks.

those are my 2 network cards:

02:00.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Attansic Technology Corp. L1 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter [1969:1026] (rev b0)

04:00.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8169 Gigabit Ethernet [10ec:8169] (rev 10)

realtek works, attansic is recognized and i can set IP address etc etc but no internet working.

bios settings: integrated ethernet enabled, lan boot rom disabled.

tried also with realtek and without, also in DHCP.

the L1E is recognized but it fails pinging the router, other computers and the internet.

are there different versions of the kext?

i used that one in first page

@ marionez: which log shall I post?

Reader02 made the driver!!!

So thanks him for this great job! :P

You can find last fully working AttansicL1eEthernet.kext driver version on 10.5.6 here (click)

===================================================================

Howto install?

Install the driver with kexthelper Kexthelper Download (click)

===================================================================

Sleep issue... SOLVED

Reader02 solved the issue with latest driver version you can find in this post link!

===================================================================

How can you understand if you have ATL1E onboard?

- open osx86tools

- click on "View PCI device/vendor ID"

- if you see in the list 1969:1026 you have ATL1E

===================================================================

I remove the attached linux driver on this post, that's not needed anymore! :)

Please note:

- AR8114 it's related with the ATL2E not ATL1E.

- ATL1 Info.plist edit won't work, because ATL1 and ATL1E are not the same thing.

You are lucky,

ENJOY IT :(

Works perfectly on my Asus 1000HE. Now I wish someone would figure out how to get wireless working!

It's really strange, I don't have that problem. You're sure is not an internet provider issue... ?

Some provider stops your connection if you're using p2p.

must be i dont know... the funny is this never append in windows...

maybe is something in my osx install , im using iPC but i will test XxX release soon maybe the problem is on iPC release

Hi, L1E Driver works fine here, on Asus p5KPL-CM :)

but, a problem occurs every 6 or 7 hours.

This is a piece of kernel log

[AttansicL1eEthernet] Error: rx sequence number error (rx=22395) (expect=50515)
... ...
 [AttansicL1eEthernet] Error: rx sequence number error (rx=22395) (expect=50527)

and a disconnection occurs. No ping to any host is possible, but the card is UP and running for ifconfig.

If i reload the kext, the connection works again.

Tell me if i can log something more and how.

Finally, ty very much for the good work :(

Try the kext file.

I'm trying too, reader02 please can you explain what you did? I can't appreciate any difference, can you even post the source file, thanks :(

When an rx sequence number error occurs, reset the hardware. In that case the system log output only an error, rather than continuous output error. And the card will not be disconnected.

After testing by luna1111 ,If this issue is resolved, i will upload the source file.

Awesome you developed a driver for this. I am about to reinstall my whole system so I was cruisin' the forums and found a driver for Attansic 1969:1026 from you. :thumbsup_anim:

I gave up hope last year and bought a network card.

This time I am gonna try your driver!!

Many many thanks!!!! :star_smile:

Hi reader02,

Thanks for you work, unfortunately I'm still experiencing the same sleep issue. It keeps assigning a Self-Assigned IP after sleep on eee pc 1000h.

Try the kext file.

Ok, sorry for delay but i want to try the kext for 2 days.

Does not work. I have only one message from kernel (as you said) but same results.

The connection works for more hours (12 or more) but i have disconnections anyway.

No ping to any host as before.

Reload the kext works.

Tell me if you want something more than the logs you have.

Ty for your work, as usual :rolleyes:

EDIT: Seems to be the connection "die" slowly. For example ...

root [/System/Library/Extensions] OSX # ping 192.168.123.254
PING 192.168.123.254 (192.168.123.254): 56 data bytes
ping: sendto: No route to host
ping: sendto: No route to host
64 bytes from 192.168.123.254: icmp_seq=2 ttl=64 time=1.213 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.123.254: icmp_seq=3 ttl=64 time=0.604 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.123.254: icmp_seq=4 ttl=64 time=0.603 ms
ping: sendto: No route to host
 ping: sendto: No route to host

and then it dies completely (no ping and no message at all from ping).

Maybe can be useful for you ?

This error with the hardware-related, it is difficult to modify. Temporarily,i commented the error check. At first ,you have a try. let's see if it will be disconnected. so you can't see the error message from kernel.

I'm trying the kext. Even if the results are not good, i want to thank you anyway for your work. ^_^ A question: in this way (comment error check) i think i *can* have a corrupted data flow. Is this true ?
