sugarmac Posted December 14, 2008 Share Posted December 14, 2008 Man Im so stupid. I somehow deleted com.Apple.boot.plist while I was replacing it with modified one. But I have backup of the original. Now I can't boot even. Any way to copy that back up without reinstalling ? Any advice mates ? Please reply buddies... Im stuck! Waiting for reply....... gprince Posted December 14, 2008 Share Posted December 14, 2008 You can boot from the install dvd with -s flag, mount the hard drive and replace the backup with command lines. The problem is I don't know how to mount the hd, cause when you type mount - uw /, it mounts the dvd apparently. So I think to solve your pb you just have to find how to mount the hd. You current Leo disk should be mounted automatically. I copied the file from Windows environment and its done !! Working perfectly...... Thanks anyways.
