I have the deluxe WiFi version of the same mobowith a 6600 quadcore and 8600 GTS 256ram video card I have installed iDeneb 1.3 10.5.5 on an external usb HD 250 GB 2.5' and works fine (but is slower than an installation on internal HD SATA).
