Can you please check this error?

Hello dear Mac Community!

 

As much as I'd like to be part of your family, I'm experiencing some troubles, and can't find any answers. I've tried a lot of bios tweak only to be disappointed by my constant failure. I have downloaded OSX 10.5.5 and tried to installed it on both VMware and on my physical hard disk and it gives me a kernel panic after it reboots (When the installation is completed). Whatever the choices I take in the customize screen, I always get the dreaded "You need to restart your computer blablabla in 5 different languages". The following picture is what I get when I boot it with -v .

 

 

My settings:

 

Asus P5K-e

Intel E6750

2 Seagate SATA 500g

 

So far, I've played with the jMicron controller and the Intel speedstep. I did not notice anything different.

 

So please, I am fairly good with both linux and Windows, but this is giving me a permanent headache!

You need to set your SATA controller to AHCI mode in BIOS so that OS X can see them. The last line in the screenshot "Still waiting for root device" points to that

Well I thought I had given it a try (following some user's guide here), but seems like I'll try again. I'm also going to give Jas and Kalyway a try. We'll be coming back to post my results afterward
