dyrdymal
Hello, I have Dell e520 with TP-Link wireless card: Ethernet controller [0200]: Atheros Communications Inc. AR2413 802.11bg NIC [168c:001a] (rev 01) Subsystem: Atheros Communications Inc. TP-Link TL-WN510G Wireless CardBus Adapter [168c:1052] running retail 10.5.4. I've been reading through all these Atheros topics and finally found out that there's no other way (I think...) than using 10.4.5 IO80211Family.kext. As I don't want to modify the system I was wondering if this can be achieved via boot132 disk? Can anyone give me some instructions how to do that (ie. load 10.4.5 kexts from boot132 disk extensions)? I've tried placing modified 10.4.5 IO80211Family.kext on boot132 disk but no luck.. If I replace original 10.5.4 IO80211Family.kext with 10.4.5 IO80211Family.kext it all works fine (ie. wireless works fine) but what I actually want is "untouched" 10.5.4 on the hdd and IO80211Family.kext drivers loaded from boot132 disk.. Any hints? regards, Adam Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/140686-atheros-ar2413-and-boot132/ Share on other sites
