solaar
Hi, I upgraded my 2G iphone to 2.2 from 2.1 with quickpwn with no problems. I installed Netatalk via Cydia to connect to my Macbook and a hack. They're both on 10.5.5. Whatever I try, the iPhone never shows up in Finder, unlike the very simple looking instructions all over the net suggest. For me it's absolutely not just install, switch on wifi and zap! the iphone pops up in the finder sidebar under 'Shared'. That would be way too easy in my case I don't even see Shared at all. Never have. I also enabled Apple talk as suggested, tried to force a connection via 'Go - Connect to server' but this is my usual luck of one of the 2% of people who never succeed with these things painlessly. I'm quite sure there's some little detail missing that's never mentioned. I'm on this for 2 days now. Hopefully someone has mercy with a non-tech head Any hint is much appreciated. cheers Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/140684-netatalk-for-fw-22/ Share on other sites
