stargex
So it's been a while since I have created a hackintosh (Last time was before leopard came out). Trying to get back on the scene again with my new PC. I am trying to learn how to do it now, and have been having some troubles. I was hoping someone could help me out here. My configuration is as follows. Model : HP Pavillion d5100t Motherboard: ASUS: IPIBL-TX or HP: Burbank-GL8E (not quite sure which one is in it) Chipset : Intel 33 Express Processor: Intel Quad Core 2 Q9550 Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT I was hoping to install from the retail Leopard DVD. So far I have tried using Boot-123 to boot from one; however, I have been unsuccessful in all my attempts. The boot normally hangs at the "using xxx buffer headers and xxx cluster IO buffer headers" (Don't quite remember the numbers, as I am not on my computer... also not sure if they are important) I have also tried using the iDeneb Leopard 10.5.5 install disc. The disc booted and installed Leopard; however, upon trying to boot leopard, the computer would crash and restart. Went to fast to get any error messages. So I think that is all I information I had. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I think I just need to be steered in the right direction as it has been a while since I have attempted this and it looks like things have changed quite a bit.
