I tried with several kinds/brands of memory , including Kingstom , (some information i had mention the memory sticks change) but no way... tried as well several install DVDs (burned at diferent speeds , 1x , 2x, 4x....and several brands of DVD)...no way...allways the same msg at same point... I'm installing with following hardware : IDE DVD (slave) IDE HD (Master) - tried as well with a SATA HD ****** ABIT I-N73HD motherboard : LGA 775 Intel Pentium D (3.2) Chipset GeForce 7100/nForce 630i - Single Chip FSB1333 DDR2 800 (actually i have 2 Gb DDR2-667) HDMI SATA 3G RAID Gigabit Ethernet IEEE1394 7.1 CH HD Audio mATX form factor RoHS Complianc ******* Had configure my BIOS according to information i took from this forum (and links) - mainly SATA MODE=AHCI or IDE. Is there any driver i should pick before instalation so this could be solved ? I'm trying this for 1 week now , and very frustated...any help would be welcome ... thanks to all... artcool
Ok, i finally manage to have instaled Leopard in my PC , motherboard ABIT I-N73H (with Pentium D 3.2), 2 Gb memory. After several errors on install (which were related with a bad ISO i downloaded) and after downloading ISO from another location , i had a perfect install without glitches. Onboard network not working (solved with adding a RTL based card) , onboard firewire OK, onboard sound not working (not a problem for me, since i will be using a external professional sound card). Besides a little long boot time , all is ok . Would love to thank this forum for helping, but, unfortunately i had no help at all from here , besides reading myself the topics of course. thanks anyway!
