ksaguire
NOTE: I'm very new to Mac world but I had been a long time user of Linux (in general). Bear with me with this query: I had been searching this forum for answers but still could not find the correct solution on the problem I'm currently facing as of the moment. I downloaded both iATKOS_5i and iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5 (checked its MD5 hashes and it matched) ISO's, burnt it and tried booting on it but it always shows the same error: "Still waiting for root device" What can I do to address this problem? Here are my current hardware specification: Motherboard: Asus P5PE-VM Processor: Intel Celeron 1.8 Ghz (Supports 64-bit) RAM: 512MB HDD: Seagate 80GB SATA - and no other external cards. Shamrock13
Try disabling your USB and if that doesn't work, try connecting an IDE hard drive as master and using your IDE disc drive as slave. I'm pretty sure either of those is how I got my computer to resolve it's issues.
