  1. I'm unable to get full video support on mine. I've installed with iAtkos, and there is no com.apple.boot.plist file, and I've installed the NVinject, but it doesn't seem to do anything at all. I'm also quite a noob at this, but I've got an understanding on what to do. I've installed audio kext, and I'm going to be purchasing a wifi adapter soon to make this work. But for the videosupport, I've installed what you have in the link and then I tried to use the QE/CI fix but nothing worked since there's no file I just said. I can't get this to work at all. It's upsetting.

Problem with iDeneb 10.5.5 on Gateway P-7811FX

Apparently, people do not like to help others around here. Awesome.

Problem with iDeneb 10.5.5 on Gateway P-7811FX

I finally got it installed, but I'm near positive I don't have sound, I don't have graphics driver installed, I don't have wireless, and I'm using Kalyway 10.5.2. I'm pretty sure I'm using the sleep kernel. Also, my bootloader is either corrupt or I just can't fix it now. I tried doing this: If you already have vista installed primarily, and don't want to reformat, copy the chain0, boot.ini, and ntldr into the C: directory. Boot with Vista DVD-ROM, repair, it will prompt you that there's an error with the bootloader. Reboot, fixed. Then install OS X. Repair permissions. Now, OS X is the main bootloader. Place Vista DVD back in drive, boot, repair, and you have a working bootloader with a lovely OS selection screen. Enjoy. EDIT: NEVERMIND! I had to change the active partition in diskpart, and everything is now perfect! All I need is a fix for my wireless, sound, graphics drivers, my webcam, and oh yeah, it doesn't recognize my laptop keyboard! It says I don't have a keyboard installed, so I had to plug in my USB keyboard to do anything. Hopefully someone can help me!

Problem with iDeneb 10.5.5 on Gateway P-7811FX

I was able to reboot, but I had to do it in safe mode under verbose. It then proceeded to do the SAME exact thing. I made sure I didn't install ANY network drivers. I installed: Azalia Several programs Chipset drivers for Intel the ICHx ones I think. That was about it. It loaded to the welcome screen, it proceeded to the data migration screen, and it restarts if I click continue. What the hell am I supposed to do now?!

    iDeneb 1.3 10.5.5 on Asus P5PE-VM board

Try disabling your USB and if that doesn't work, try connecting an IDE hard drive as master and using your IDE disc drive as slave. I'm pretty sure either of those is how I got my computer to resolve it's issues.

Problem with iDeneb 10.5.5 on Gateway P-7811FX

So I tried to reinstall again, but this time I can't get it to boot up to OS X at all. I wasn't sure if I installed any network kexts so I booted the disc and used disk utility to delete the partition and then I reinstalled making sure no network kexts were installed. Now, I can't even get it to boot up after reinstalling. I don't know why at all. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? I mean if the Wiki says this computer can use iDeneb and since this is definitely the easiest installer I've used, why isn't it working properly? These are the specifications of the laptop in question: * Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 (2.26GHz, 1066MHz FSB, 3MB L2 cache) * Memory: 4GB (4096MB) DDR3 800MHz Dual Channel Memory (2 x 2048MB modules), max. 4GB * Hard Drive: 200GB 7200rpm Serial ATA hard drive w/ 16MB Cache * Video: NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GTS with 512MB of GDDR3 discrete video memory * Chipset: Intel PM45 Chipset * Display: 17.0″ WUXGA Ultrabright TFT Active Matrix (1920×1200) * Audio: High-Def Audio, 2 Channel (Conexant) * DVD Drive: HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T50 ATA Device * Digital Media Manager: 5-in-1 Digital Media Manager Memory Stick, MS Pro, MMC, SD, xD * External Ports: 3 USB 2.0, VGA, V1.2 HDMI Connector, IEEE 1394 Firewire Port, e-SATA * Ethernet Network Card: Marvell variant * Optical Drive: 8x Multi-Format Dual Layer DVDRW with DVD-RAM featuring Labelflash Technology * Wireless Network: Intel 802.11a/b/g/Draft-N Wireless Networking (Intel 5100) Yet I cannot find anyway to install this OS and have it boot again. Please someone help me. If you can list me what kexts to install and if I should switch from the vanilla kernel. I don't know what to do now. Ugh.. Please.

Problem with iDeneb 10.5.5 on Gateway P-7811FX

I was able to boot into OS X, but during it's welcoming utility, after I select I don't want to migrate info, it freezes for a little bit and then restarts me at the choose a country screen and I can't digress past it! What should I do?!
  8. I customized the install and had it install the basic necessities. I used the AppleAzaliaAudio.kext if that is even the name, and then I added programs to the list to install. That's everything I did. It says it installs correctly, and then when it goes through the reboot countdown, and it reboots and I take the DVD out since it's set to start the DVD automatically. Then as it goes to the Chameleon/Darwin screen it says, 'Press anything to load setup options' or whatever. I let it go and it boots. It then boots to the grey Apple logo and just sits there. I went into safe mode/verbose mode, and it shows me the 'waiting on <dict id="0">' error. I don't know what to do after this. The 7811FX runs on a PM45 Express chipset. It has a 9800GTS, 4 GB ram, and Centrino 2 2.26 ghz processor. According to this: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...rtables#Gateway Everything should install 100% fine! It doesn't say which kernels to use, and I don't know if I should try a different one other than the vanilla. Please help me!
  9. I need this MSI motherboard's BIOS updated! http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=do...amp;prod_no=165 MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum 7800GT 256 MB AMD 3200+ It won't allow me to use USB. I have to disable it, and that's a complete problem when I need to use the USB ports. I'm pretty sure it's a VIA chipset. I really don't know.

    MSI K8N NEO4 installation method?

So I figured out that I have to disable my USB in order for the install to get past that 'OHCI' error, but then I came to another problem because I only had one IDE drive, so I had to add an old IDE HDD as my master and my disk drive as my slave. That worked out fine and I got the install up and running, but there in lies the problem as my mouse is USB, and since it was turned off in BIOS, there was no way to control my mouse. Is there anyway for this to work without disabling USB?

    MSI K8N NEO4 installation method?

I've tried another distro that said it's compatible with AMD, but I'm still receiving the same error! The 'OHCI controller will be unloaded across sleep.' What the bloody hell does this mean and why do I keep getting it?! I have no idea what this problem is! Please if anyone can help, I'd love you forever!

    MSI K8N NEO4 installation method?

Do you know anywhere to download Zephyroth's OS X? I've checked everywhere, and the only things I can come up with are 35 rapidshare links which will take me nearly 7 hours constantly downloading each file separately or a torrent for REV2 that downloads at about .1 kb/s.

    XxX_x86_10.5.5_Install_Disc_Rev1

Since this thread is active, I'd like to ask for some help. I've tried this release with PPF2 applied and iDeneb, and I'm getting the same results no matter what. I keep getting this, "OHCI controller will be unloaded across sleep." Then it just sits there and says something about it still waiting for the root to reply or something. It happens no matter what, and I cannot figure out what the problem is at all. I have an MSI K8N Neo4 motherboard and am running an AMD 3200+ CPU. My HDD is a Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250 GB SATA. I'm near positive my motherboard doesn't have support for Legacy USB as I went through the BIOS and could not find an option for it. Any help will be amazingly appreciated. Please!
  14. Did anyone ever figure out what the resolve for this was? This is the exact same problem I keep getting, but I've found nothing to help me, and I'm getting distraught. Please someone help!
