rolgnav
Hi, I tried searching the forums here but nothing about the more recent iATKOS 5i, and VMWare Workstation 6.5 I was wondering if any of you were running this configuration and how you got it to work? Thanks
rolgnav
Ok, after some fumbling around, I got it to work using variations of Donk's templates from this thread: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=139178 Thanks

miomao
please can you explain how to get iatkos 5i to work on vmware 6.5???
pencilcheck
it works for me, first, you need winnt as your OS type, then IDE drive. then install and format the drive with MBR, then customize install. It should install correctly but can't boot, if that happens, go to vmx and change scsi0.present = "TRUE" to scsi0.present = "FALSE" just to pass the first boot, because it is not important after the first boot. I hope this simple guide helps.
