theCollector
Hey all. I'm having a terrible time trying to discover wifi sources, much less connect to them. I've already tried swapping wifi cards, i've tried three separate cards but with no luck. What are my options? is there an external antennae i can connect to the gold break-off connector? can the stock wifi antennae be replaced? also, i'd like to avoid using a PCMCIA wifi card at all costs. thanks! shavex
Are you sure its the Powerbooks fault?! have you looked at the signal strength of another wireless device at the same point your mac is at?! If so then D-Link makes some good USB wireless dongles that work with Mac. theCollector
i've tried my HP DV9000, my acer aspire one(loaded with OSX), and my buddies macbook pro all at precisely the same location. All of them get 4-5 bars Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/140022-poor-wifi-signal-with-my-powerbook-g4/#findComment-991920 Share on other sites
