I found on the Wiki that I should install it via Leo4Allv2 Kernel, but I've no idea what that means. Is there an install DVD to download or can I use anyone and select the kernel after install has begun?

I tried the iDeneb 10.5.5 version patched to 1.3, but that kept getting stuck at either this error: 'ohci controller will be loaded across sleep' or this one 'lo0 failed to attach a link local address.'

So I have no idea what is wrong.

The computer I'm setting up is:

AMD 3200+

1 GB some kind of RAM. I can't recall the brand

NVIDIA 7800GT

MSI K8N Neo4 motherboard

Thanks for the help in advanced if I get any at all! Haha! :(

Hi,

I have the same board with the same CPU and I have very good experiences with Zephyroth's AMD optimized install disc.

For more information please have a look here:

My AMD hackintosh works amazingly stable and I am more than happy with it.

Good luck and with many greetings from Berlin

Do you know anywhere to download Zephyroth's OS X? I've checked everywhere, and the only things I can come up with are 35 rapidshare links which will take me nearly 7 hours constantly downloading each file separately or a torrent for REV2 that downloads at about .1 kb/s.

I've tried another distro that said it's compatible with AMD, but I'm still receiving the same error! The 'OHCI controller will be unloaded across sleep.' What the bloody hell does this mean and why do I keep getting it?! I have no idea what this problem is! Please if anyone can help, I'd love you forever!

So I figured out that I have to disable my USB in order for the install to get past that 'OHCI' error, but then I came to another problem because I only had one IDE drive, so I had to add an old IDE HDD as my master and my disk drive as my slave. That worked out fine and I got the install up and running, but there in lies the problem as my mouse is USB, and since it was turned off in BIOS, there was no way to control my mouse.

Is there anyway for this to work without disabling USB?
