jml401
Hey all, I'm currently running 10.5.2 (vanilla) with an HD 2400 Pro (94c3). Currently, everything is supported (QE/CI, rotation, etc...) via Triakis FB and Leopard graphics update, but I have no DVI output. The VGA output works and thus no DVI2VGA adapter is necessary. However, I've read a few sporadic posts about some lucky individuals that have their DVI output working fully supported (QE/CI, etc...) with their 2400 cards, and it appears that these individuals are running 10.5.5. Two questions: 1) My card has VGA, DVI, and S-video outputs. For those with fully supported DVI outputs, does your card have a different arrangement of outputs, i.e. dual DVI? 2) Also for those w/working 2400 DVI outputs: is it necessary for me to run 10.5.5 to get it working? Does anyone have it working in 10.5.2 with QE/CI? If there's a reason why the DVI is working in newer kernel versions, I very well may have to upgrade... If I can get this baby to output to my DVI, my eyes would get some much needed relief! Thanks

Thanks I'have a 2400 pro 94c3 and DVI output works out of the box with leo4all V2 and Triakis FB but not works dual monitor: if I connect 2 monitors (1DVI and 1 VGA) works only VGA output. The same behaviour with Leopard 10.5.5 (Megalodon FB and 10.5.5 kexts). S-Video output don't works.
jml401
thanks for the reply; i've tried many times connecting just the dvi output; no luck in that department - screen fades to blue upon login and then i get a black screen. any other ideas? on a side note, what kind of dvi cable do you use? mine is a dvi-d... i'm trying to get at this from all angles... jml401
Anyone else have a fully working DVI output on their 94c3? I believe there are a few more of you out there; any help is greatly appreciated!
cerfew
hmm. seems i keep posting in old threads. my 94c3 worked PERFECTLY up to 10.5.4. I had updated from there to 10.5.7 and my DVI then died. I am about to test 10.5.5 to see if i can still get it to work.... this information i'm sure is useless to you by now though.
