Ouch Posted April 22, 2006 Share Posted April 22, 2006 I sent mine back for repair - whining noise and inverter buzz, both have now been resolved by an apparent mainboard replacement (when it came back the firmware was an old version) It's still as hot as ever though. crypto55 Posted April 25, 2006 Share Posted April 25, 2006 I've been having a lot of problems with a macbook that a friend lent to me- died while in my hands. Not a good situation. CD wouldn't eject, os wouldn't boot, unresponsive firmware - ie no back door access via keyboard entries.
