Spedione
I just finished installing iDenub v1.3 10.5.5. It finishes cleanly, no errors, but I get a message saying ,"No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key" I have tried every kernel included. I would very much appreciate it as I am typing this from my iPod Touch. I have an unmodufied Acer Aspire 5315-2153. MacNutty
Try this: 1. Boot with -s (use install disk for booting) 2. fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0 (replace 0 with your disk no. where OSX is installed.) 3. flag 1 (replace 1 with partition no. where OSX is installed.) 4. update 5. write 6. quit 7. reboot Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/139245-no-bootable-device-insert-boot-disk-and-press-any-key/#findComment-986102 Share on other sites

Spedione
Never mind. It will boot into safe mode, but I need internet. I have the kexts installed, but it will only show me a black screen with the mouse when I do not boot it into safe mode. I will try to figure out what the problem and post it, but I could use some help. EDIT: Apparently my wifi card fails. I will try removing that kext and seeing what happens...
