Apple Aluminum wired USB Keyboard + Abit ip35 pro = no bios entry. Delete key doesn't work.

I am mostly done with this hackintosh build, right now the remaining problems are merely annoyances.

As of now if i press the delete key (the one located where the standard delete key is on a pc keyboard).

It will not enter the bios. Previously, a logitech usb keyboard was able to. IT was set to usb keyboard (bios) control.

Now if i continue to hold down the delete key, once I end up at vista's boot manager, i'm not able to navigate to select leopard.

If i don't touch anything until i get to the boot manager, then I can select either operating system.

When in osX the delete key functions as it would in windows, as a forward delete.

I know the most obvious solution is to keep another usb keyboard for bios entry.

Any ideas?

I had a similar issue on a Asus P5QL Pro. The Apple Alu Keyboard is a USB2 device where most USB keyboards are USB 1. The mainboard couldn't detect it properly, but was working with an older apple keyboard (graphite). The latest BIOS update fixed this issue. It also seems than enabling USB legacy support won't help.
