Timelord
I read online that a solution to slow performance of iMovie and iDVD was to upgrade QuickTime 6 to QuickTime 7. I downloaded the QuickTime 7 installer from the Apple web site, but every time I run it, as soon as the actual installation process begins, I get a message that tells me "Installer has quit unexpectedly." Can I fix this somehow and get QuickTime 7 to install properly on my machine? I am running Mac OS X 10.4.5. Thanks! Timelord
Now you have made me feel stupid. Upon checking, I am running QuickTime version 7.0.4. Still not completely sure why the installer fails, but now it appears there's no need to worry about upgrading. I read the solution before examining the problem. I apologize for wasting everyone's time. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13884-cant-install-quicktime-7/#findComment-88254 Share on other sites
