HiDDeNN
I'm using a hackintosh (Kalyway 10.5.2 updated to 10.5.5), and installed recently Photoshop CS4 Extended. When I select the rectangle tool and try to draw in the canvas, Photoshop hangs and shows the spinning ball. I have to force close the application. Is this happening to someone else? Maybe it's a graphics driver issue? (I'm using NVinject 0.2.1 on a NVidia Gforce 6600) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/138766-photoshop-cs4-rectangle-tool/ Share on other sites
qbattersby
I believe it is a graphics issue, go into options and disable OpenGL acceleration. I believe that is what I did, and it fixed the crashing. hecker
Yes, I agree with qbattersby. It will crash on me whenever I use any of the image transformation functions, like rotate, scale, etc. Turning OpenGL off fixes it. HiDDeNN
I believe it is a graphics issue, go into options and disable OpenGL acceleration. I believe that is what I did, and it fixed the crashing. What options should I search for that? I've used osx86tools and went to "Enable/Disable Quartz GL", and it says "current quartz GL status: disabled". hecker
Any other solution? Go to your PHOTOSHOP PREFERNCES PANE and turn off OpenGL acceleration from there.
