Jovu Posted November 29, 2008 Share Posted November 29, 2008 I've been trying to install Kalyway 10.5.2 on my Dell Dimension 3100 but the installer always freezes (not always in the same place) I've tried restarting & letting it run through again, still freezes. I've tried JaS, still freezes, so I think it's because it only has 256mb RAM (installed fast on my laptop with 1GB RAM) I need to know lack of RAM is the reason for the freezing before I go out & buy more. Thanks! EDIT: Also JaS 10.4.8 works 100% if this means anything. EDIT2: Just bought 2GB RAM, if it doesn't work I'll either send it back or use it with tiger/xp.
