5enses
I've downloaded Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD Intel Amd SSE2/SSE3 EFI V8 1. Didn't work when I tried to install it (stuck in darwin). 2. Flashed my BIOS with a MOD BIOS, got to through darwin and into installing process. Error popped up after scanning DVD. (The installer could not crea the folder /Volumes/DATA/BaseSystem.pkg.137akhw27) 3. Found out I couldn't change my "Onboard SATA Mode:RAID" to "Onboard SATA Mode:AHCI". Picture 4. Tried flashing to a newer BIOS along with a downgraded official version 1.95. Results are the same. The person that helped me, told me to come on this community since there are more support here. You can find all my progress and reports in this thread (pictures are included). bubblex
Anyone? ENABLE the XD SETTING in the bios I use a IDE pata drive so not sure about the sata settings but tha pata works fine and u can USE Boot F12 SCREEN to boot the PATA DRIVE or easyBCD best results are with the modified sleep kernal on my m5630,this gives me sleep/restart/shutdown working perfect, the vanilla kernal hangs on sleep/shutdown for me I had best installs using leo4all and iATKOS than kalyway by the way Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/138697-acer-aspire-m5620-no-ahci-option-in-bios/#findComment-989315 Share on other sites
