Burning_Sensation
I've been looking for that firmware too. It's out there as I've seen a flashed one listed on FleaBay. The Sapphire model with GDDR4 is the match for the one on OWC ( http://eshop.macsales.com/item/ATI%20Technologies/100435928/ ) if the firmware can be had this is a good buy to try the flash with as it should be an exact match: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814102719 Someone let me know if the firmware is out there.... I've still got a flashed 7800 GT 256MB and 2x 7800 GTX 512MB for the Dual Core G5's (2.0GHz, 2.3GHz, and 2.5GHz Quad) if you know of someone still running one....the GT is a big step up from the 6600 that was stock and the GTX just plain ROCKS...see barefeats.com for more info.. dubhead
I did such an Adventure once with a Radeon7000 PCI on a older Umax S-900 Clone. Abit fiddly but it worked. Got a preflashed Chip cheap once from some Guy by Mail. Good Luck Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/138585-converting-a-pc-hd3870-to-support-mac-pro/#findComment-1020958 Share on other sites
