Audio en placa Intel chipset ICH7 82801G

Hola,

 

por más vueltas que le doy, no consigo saber como activar el sonido en mi Sony Vaio VGN SZ2XP/C, tiene un chipset Intel ICH7. Para ser más concretos, estos son los datos del dispositivo:

 

00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller (rev 02)

 

En el perfil del sistema salen estos datos:

 

Sonido Intel de alta definición:

ID del dispositivo: 0x104D81E6

 

No se si tengo que instalar el driver ICH7 y donde se encuentra o otro tipo de driver o parche.

No es necesario que abras más hilos preguntando lo mismo.

El Chipset ICH7 es de la placa madre y controla al chip de sonido, el bus pci express y los sata.

De acuerdo a lo que pude averiguar tu notebook tiene el chip de sonido Realtek ALC888 y en este link encontrarás los drivers para tu tarjeta de sonido. Revisa que correspondan antes de instalar porque no quiero ser responsable de algún desastre.

Muchas gracias, lo voy a probar. Supongo que si se rompe el sistema, puedo arrancar desde DVD y borrar el directorio donde se instale el driver, ¿no?.

 

Disculpa que haya abierto otro post, pero como el anterior tenía otro tema en el título, por si acaso. Y así queda claro para otro usuario que entre al foro.

por más que he mirado por ahí. no estoy seguro de si mi notebook tiene el chip Realtek ALC888. Solo me sale esto, que es lo que sale al hacer un "lspci" desde Linux:

De todas formas, me he arriesgado y he instalado el driver de Realtek ALC888 que me has comentado.

 

Una vez hecho esto, el sonido sigue sin funcionar, y ahora además no sale el altavoz en el panel superior.

 

¿No habrá que instalar el driver del chipset ICH7?, el cual no se donde está.

Tu audio es un Sigmatel Stac 7761 , descárgate este pack , descomprímelo y arrastra el txt sobre el icono de la tortuga, el solo se encargará de parchear tu HDA.... reinicia con -f

No es necesario que desinstales nada ya que el patcher ha sobreescrito tu anterior AppleHDA.kext y añadido la nueva información....

Si, editando tu mismo el codec, y creando un un pathmap y un codecverb correcto, pero ya te informo que será muy difícil que lo logres, pásate por la zona "Genius Bar" y échale un vistazo al la guía vreada por The King.

No lo sé.Pero si me das tu codec dump desde mandriva puedo intentar habilitarte tu mic...tengo una poca experiencia con eso.

Aquí tienes una aproximación:haz un respaldo del actual y pruebas este...Sucede que el dump que me enviaste no coincide con el de Sigmatel del todo:no se si es tu PC la que está dando el error.Te he modificado la sección del micrófono que estaba unida a una line-out y no a una line-in como debe estar.Si no te funciona,se podría comenzar desde cero pero tendrías que esperar un poco y estar pendiente.

Como ves,la secuencia de NID es 8-9-21-12 (08,09,15 y 0c en hexadecimal).Pero el NID 12 es la siguiente line-out como comenté antes

hay que cambiarla a que refleje el cambio 8-9-21-20 (08,09,15 y 0x14 en hexadecimal) así

Al menos esa fué la primera aproximación como te comenté antes.Esa info sale a partir del codec de Sigmatel que puedes ver de manera gráfica aquí
