helob
If I open OSx86 Project Forum and click on any title like OSx86 Project Forum>Apple The PC Forum and select a topic like Keyboard & Mouse Problem, I can view content of Post 1 follow by a list of "Posts in this topic" I need to click on each reply post in the list to view the content. What can I tweak/configure to have all the posts in the list open up all at once? I am using IE6 running WinXP. I know it can be done as I have seen it on Safari where the content of posts are open one after another instead of showing a list. Thank You for your Help. caladan1810
Hi helob, what you may have done is clicked the options button inther forums you were viewing there are normally three buttons, 'reply', 'new' & 'topic' 'options'. If you have clicked the options button and selected switch to 'outline' this is why you are not able to view the forums in full as you would like to. you will need to delete the cookie for osx86project.org found in your temporary internet items folder. In IE6 go to Tools... Internet Options... Heading of Internet Temporary Files. Click on settings... View Files... you will be presented with cached objects in your Internet Temporary Files Folder. Usually C:\Documents and ettings\YourUserName\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files once there you will need to delete the cookie for osx86project.org it will look something like the following: osx86projectusername@forum.osx86project[2].txt highlight this file & delete then close IE6 & restart IE6 then log back into www.osx86project.org you should now be presented with a FULL VIEW of your forums & not an outline of the forum posts. I hope this helps. regards Cal. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13847-help-on-ie-browsing/#findComment-88736 Share on other sites

I am surprised that it was not in the forum help and there is no way back after configuring to "outline" except deleting the cookie. I hope someone can change the options feature so you can toggle among all the display modes. Thanks again Cal. for your help.
