Hi there. I updated my kalyway 10.5.2 to 10.5.5 now 3 times. I have done everything as the netkas method but I always end up rebooting to a still screening stating "using 5242 buffer headers and 4096 cluster..." By the way I have done this on various machines and mine 3 times today, I must be missing something. My machine: core2duo E6550 2.33ghz, Asrock 1333-d667, 1gb ram.. Any help much appreciated.

I was having a mad issues getting to 10.5.5 (only version that supported my 9400gt) but this did the trick for me. When i first did it i could only boot into safe mode (-x) but i finally figured out it was my video card crashing it in regular mode, which was fixed with nvinject and nvdarwin, so now i'm running 10.5.5 with, as far as i can tell, 100% compatibility.

Nop, no good. What I have since done is use boot 132 and original leopard disk. All working well now, luckily I had time machine backup of all my stuff, just used migration assistant and all good now. Dont have to worry about installing updates wrongly, all updates installed from apples update without patching or anything. Only little thing now is the resolution for my onboard graphics intel gma950. But hope to be getting decent graphics card this month. All the best to everyone

Just an update. All is working fine. Strongly recommend using boot 132. The only thing I havent look into yet is to install boot 132 to a smaller partition or usb stick. Each time restart or startup the comp you have to manually choose the hdd to boot and so on. Just a bit of an anoying thing.. but all smooth so far.

All the best
