Roni Miguel
How do I uninstall de OS X 86? My windows xp crashed, and I was unable to boot so I tried to re-install windows xp and it didnt't work too.. then I start a linux live cd and I delete de OS X 86 using a partition program, but I still can't install windows or even linux in my hard drive... on linux terminal I get the following message when trying to delete partition: Unable to open /UNIONFS/dev/hda - unrecognised disk label So, I'm thinking there is still something from the OS X that wasn't deleted by the partition program.. Thanks, Roni Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13823-how-do-i-uninstall-the-osx86/ Share on other sites
thrunner
You would need to wipe your mbr (master boot record): http://www.geocities.com/mbrwizard/ http://www.911cd.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=3934 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13823-how-do-i-uninstall-the-osx86/#findComment-87869 Share on other sites

Philip Aronowitz
You could have just used diskpart.... select disk "X" (the disk number for the invalid partion) clean yes Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13823-how-do-i-uninstall-the-osx86/#findComment-88068 Share on other sites
