pimpsahoy
Alright, Ive done some research, and found that it is because I'm using JMICRON. I tried the Chameleon patch for 10.5.2, but that didn't work (I'm trying to install 10.5.1). Is there a JMICRON fix for 10.5.1, or do I need 10.5.2? xx66stangxx
It's been a while since I have seen this issue, Tiger days, I think it might be a bad burn of the dvd Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/138179-kalyway-disc-for-os-1051-gives-comapplebootplist-erornot-found/#findComment-977765 Share on other sites
jdryden
I don't have the ISO file anymore (Did an Erase & Install). Do you know where I can find the latest Leo4All? Don't worry about a link, but a direction, a hint.. etc. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/138179-kalyway-disc-for-os-1051-gives-comapplebootplist-erornot-found/#findComment-977802 Share on other sites
pimpsahoy
I'm sure it's not because of a bad burn...I've burned several times (with and without the patch) and still get the error. xx66stangxx
I'm trying to recall what the issue is, like I said it has been a longg time, You get the error before even booting into the dvd? jdryden
my computer says: PRESS ANY KEY TO BOOT FROM DISC. Then it gives me the message. What does it mean? xx66stangxx
It's the dvd like I said it's either the dvd (a bad burn) or it's the distro you are using. What distro are you using? jdryden
I was browsing on a bay of pirates and found something in the description of a leo4all iso:: During the DVD bootup if your stuck at "waiting for root device" I am sorry your hardware is probably not supported. You can try changing some options in your BIOS, maybe you get lucky. If you get error com.apple.boot.plist not found your DVD is most likely bad, burn it again at a lower speed. If you have an AMD system please check the box for AMD-System-Fix to aplly the patches needed for Leopard to work!! This should solve your problem. You need to lower the boot speed. I'm trying to download the torrent from a different torrent site, because the bay has bad editions. Hope this helps!
