ZeDz
I recently tried to install a graphics driver for my x850xt pe, but the installation failed, and my computer hangs during boot.. Unfortunately, i took away the '-v' line from the apple boot preference file so the booting would look nice. Is there anyway to access the boot options page even though im doing a graphic boot instead of verbose so that I can try safe mode? I tried using the startup disk utility from the installation disk but it didnt work. I know it was stupid of me to remove the verbose option from the bootfile, but if someone could help me out and save me from having to reinstall again, I would be very grateful. Note: my only other os is windows xp, so i cannot access the boot file... ZeDz
-x doesn't boot you into safe mode? The problem is, I never get a chance to enter the -x cause i got rid of the menu... as soon as the hard drive boots it goes straight to a screen with the apple logo.
