ricky2008
So I have downloaded Kalyway 10.5.2 and burned to dvd. I am on a gericom 53120, using vista.(I belive it has an Intel Celeron prossessor and it says it supports mmx, sse, sse2, sse3, ssse3 and em64t) So i partitioned my (internal) hard disk first of all (I have tried ntfs and fat32) and then Boot the dvd and enter the install. After selecting my language, i go into disk utility but my hard disk is NOT listed...(neither the ntfs or the fat patition is found). but I have an external drive that it sees, so i installed on to my external drive. Formatting it to extended journalled.. Then on the reboot I got the partition error.... I have tried different options on the install for kernels and such and now dont even get the error anymore. So my question is how do i get the install to find my INTERNAL drive, Or how do i get the install to boot from my external? (do i need some kind of boot loader??) I select external boot on start up but it just boots my vista from the internal drive. And also, what info do i need about my computer for the set up??(such as drivers and the like) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/137836-help-needed/ Share on other sites
MacNutty
Do not format it to NTFS or FAT. Follow this: 1. Boot into Vista. 2. Delete the created partition. 3. Diskpart 4. create partition primary id=af 5. select partition <newly created partition no.> 6. active Reboot into Leopard, now you would be able to see the internal HDD. If problems then post.
